I’ve been struggling for some days now to think of an interesting way to introduce the fraught world of insurance. It strikes me that, in fact, there isn’t one (sorry to any insurance brokers out there, I’m sure you’re fascinating people really). The important thing to say is that of today I am insured against the majority of dastardly things which could affect me whilst on the expedition, and it’s only taken me 3 months to sort out!
